Geocaching Day 5 - Salem, MA

Day 5
What a rebound!

We went out to find 10 - we found 9. Everyone scored in the town famous for the Salem Witch trials.

Cache 1: Melon finds "The Great Fire of 1914"
Cache 2: Colin does NOT find "Witch's Brew BBQ"
Cache 3: Andrew and Rachel find "TIME WILL NOT DIM." Declan looks on in amazement.

Cache 3: Colin and Cam find "Congress Street Bridge"
The group poses in front of the Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Colin and Harry find "Salem Witch Trials Memorial"
Jack does a happy dance for no particular reason. But we're awfully glad he did.
Andrew and Colin find "Hocus Pocus"
Declan is ecstatic to find "Til the Cows Come Home"
Cassie and Rachel find "Thar Be Witches"
Ben finds "Time Traveler"
And finally, Cam goes swimming to find "Waikikamukau"

We're psyched to wrap it up tomorrow morning when we prepare for the Symposium and plant our homemade cache!

Geocaching Day 4

It was a day indoors for Geocaching, so this is a short post.

We spend the morning devising our plan for the Symposium. It's a surprise, so more on that later.

In the afternoon, in an effort to avoid the frigid temps, we went to an escape room in Concord. We exercised some of the same problem solving skills used in Geocaching. Both groups escaped their rooms, so yay us!

We did it!!

Not a lot of pix, so sorry! We'll do better tomorrow when we tackle Salem, Mass.

Geocaching Day 2!

Day 2 found us in Manchester and Nashua
Colin and Melon with their son, Harry in front of Stage 1 of the multi-cache "Bronze and Stone"

Jack and Cam at the final stage of "Bronze and Stone"
Cam and Harry find "11/22/63"
Yes, they are literally crawling into a drainage pipe under Fishercat Stadium to find the cache "Foul Territory."

Melon is not amused

On to Nashua, Cam finds a pirate's cove under some dude's porch.

The day is done, and we're planning for tomorrow's adventure in Portland.

Geocaching Day 1!

Today Geocachers conquered Concord! Scouring the landscape for geocaches near and far. Sometimes they had to solve puzzles and riddles to get their final coordinates. Sometimes they zeroed right in on their prize.
Hitting the Road!
Searching for the first find
Colin for the Win!
Melon for the win!
Harry makes a friend
Andrew respectfully introduces himself
Everybody wanted in on the meet and greet

Jack for the final win of the day
