75 and sunny- We had another excellent day in Arizona on Thursday! In the morning we traveled to Kierland Golf Club. Kierland golf is managed by Troon (company we met on Tuesday) and also has a resort managed by Marriott.
We met and learned from the resort manager, Kierland head golf professional, and a sales team representative. It was very interesting to see how a golf course and a resort work together to satisfy guests traveling to the area. In addition, we learned from their sales team about how to best maximize their profits with tee times, tournaments, and resort guests. Each of the professionals referenced the importance of creating a "memorable experience" that will be shared with other and the network at Kierland would continue to grow.

John Webb, the General Manager of Kierland delivered us a great presentation on their business. He answered all of our questions and was very entertaining!

In the afternoon, the group traveled to Talking Stick Golf Club to play a round of golf. It was an amazing course on a reservation and the views were spectacular!

Tomorrow we head to the Ping headquarters to check out the manufacturing and merchandise aspect of the golf industry!
