New England Cuisine Day 4: Boston

Day 4! Boston! We left New Hampton at 9:30 and split into two mini-vans to drive down south. Once we arrived, Jimmy McCool immediately took charge and lead the pack to heart of the North End, Hanover Street.

At that point, half the group, already hungry, split to go eat in a restaurant called Cassarecce while the other half took some time to explore the North End. In doing so, this more group walked down a narrow alley and entered Bricco, an Italian deli where they split a sandwich to fuel their exploring.

After taking a wide loop of the North End, strolling through Quincy Market and visiting the Holocaust Memorial outside City Hall, the group made their way back and sat down to eat at Trattoria.

While they were enjoying their meal, the Cassarecce crowd took their turn exploring the North End, especially enjoying much time in Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry. Once the groups reconvened, it was about time to head back to New Hampton.
