Santa Fe: Photos and Feathers, Day 3

Today we started off our day a little bit earlier than others. We took a quick walk to a French pastry shop located on San Francisco street in Downtown Santa Fe. We all had a variety of different crepes and pastries. We then walked back to the hotel and took a 1 hour drive northwest to the Bandelier National Monument. Ancestral Pueblo people settled in the sheltered Frijoles Canyon. They carved out cave rooms in the soft 'tuff' of the cliffs. We walked on the trail to view a variety of different  dwellings in the cliffs. We made some very nice photographs, while also enjoying living in the moment and looking at our surroundings. We then finished the trail and drove 20 minutes to a cafe called 'Fig and Pig'.   After enjoying a nice lunch, we returned to the hotel to go and observe the beautiful town of Santa Fe. We then went to dinner in the hotel and enjoyed the pool!
