Build your own computer--day 4

This was the day that the students have been waiting for--BUILD DAY!!!!  All day was a frenzy of box opening, cable routing and screw turning, with lots of  "Oooohs" over "RGB" (the fancy lights inside the case).

Build your own computer--day 3

on Wednesday, we traveled to MicroCenter in Cambridge to purchase all of our computer parts! Gamers in a computer store are a lot like kids in a candy store!

Once we got back, we organized our workstations for build day and will wait anxiously for Thursday to come so we can unbox everything and get started!

Today in the How To Build Your Own Computer, we covered the basics in regards to computer components and how they come together the form a PC. Ben '21 and Henry '22 built a demo PC to demonstrate how the components come together. Later in the day, we had the chance to take apart old PCs in order to get a better understanding of the components.
