"Today the blacksmithing group started off with some quick introductions and an overview of New England School of Metalworks in Lewiston, ME. We then quickly jumped into the forge, got our fires started, and learn the basics of how to forge steel. Today's project consisted of crafting steel hangers to hang clothes, hats, or coats on. We will continue to forge more metal items throughout the week, and will conclude the week with a bladesmithing class and makes our own knives." -Drew Smith
