An Historical Tour of New England - Day 5
By Mark, Igor, and Ercan
Today we watched the Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" which is about the American Revolution
and the struggles people had. The movie visualizes the ruthlessness of the British army and
Americans' struggle of Liberty. It then proceeded to create a slide show and Kahoot as part of our
presentation for the project week symposium, which is where we present everything we learned from
project week.

An Historical Tour of New England - Day 2
Today was an eventful day. We started the day off with a hour and a half car ride that was filled with singing and dancing. To follow that we went to Concord Massachusetts. This was where the first shots of the American Revolution took place. We crossed the North Bridge in Concord where the British were standing when the shots came. After Concord we went to Lexington. Where the actual fitting first began in the Revolution. We had about a fifteen minute car ride to our Hotel in Boston. Our rooms have a Nice view of the Prudential center. Also, took the T to Faunal Hall which was jammed packed. Over all today was a day full of history and fun. We're excited to see what Mr. Saler and Mr. Picard has planed for us next!!

An Historical Tour of New England - Day 1

We started off today by doing some background research on all of the places that we will go over the next week. Then students did presentations on what they found out. We had a discussion based on what we learned and expected to see in the coming days. After a nice lunch, we set off for Concord and the Concord Historical Society. As we pulled up to the front door, we were very impressed by the building. It was not your normal historical society. The pictures below will show what I mean! A retired teacher from the historical society taught us about the Industrial Revolution in New Hampshire and gave us a tour of the building. We finished off the day with some frozen yogurt in Concord. Overall, it was a great start to our week.
