Supernatural New England Day 5
Visit from Paranormal New England
Today we had a presentation from Joe Rainone of Paranormal New England. He showed the various types of ghost hunting tools that he uses in the field. We also learned about the places he has visited including the Lizzie Borden's house in Massachusetts. Students also finished up their mini-videos that we will be sharing during the symposiums.
Supernatural New England Day 4
Salem Witches and The House of 7 Gables
Today we visited the Salem Witch Museum in Salem, MA. We learned a great deal about the Puritans who pointed fingers at each other accusing family and friends of witchcraft. 20 people lost their lives in the trials and over 200 were accused.
The House of Seven Gables is said to be haunted. We didn't feel any presence of ghosts but we did learn a great deal about why Nathanial Hawthorne wrote about his cousins home. We also explored his house which they moved to the same location in 1958.
