Utah Avalanche- Day 4



Our day started at Sundance Resort.

Lunch! Michael is pumped for his sandwich.


We spent the afternoon exploring Park City. 


Back at Waterford for class! Quick soccer break before beginning our class on terrain.


Per Mr. Conkling's request we had to take another break to watch Post Malone's music video. It was recorded in Big Cottonwood Canyon. We are ready to complete the class with a final day in the field tomorrow!

Utah Avalanche- Day 3



Meeting at the base of Big Cottonwood to discuss avalanche report, weather, and plan for the day.

Utah Avalanche- Day 2


Today we started at Snowbird! It was a beautiful day with a great introduction to skiing in the west!


Amazing day!


Short geology lesson (limestone cliffs in the background) before heading to dinner!


Dinner= wings! 


We arrived at Waterford School for some avalanche class. The group had to make a pitstop in Mark Bromley's biology room before going to our room. Amazing collection!

Made it to UT just in time to catch a quick dinner at In-N-Out Burger! Looking forward to getting into the mountains tomorrow!
