Essential Questions: How can meditation and mindfulness make a difference in your everyday life? Do you ever take time to think about what you are thinking about?
Our group met today for the first time, anxious to get going with our physical practice. We went over the plan for the week, talked about the daily schedule, and looked for suggestions about things the students would like to add. We also went over simple logistics like bringing your yoga mat, water bottle, and journal or iPad everyday!
We have a great week planned with lots of different exercises, both physical and mental, that will take us all well beyond the practice of yoga on our mats. Our primary intention this week is to explore a variety of tools that we can all add to our stress management tool box and hope that we all leave for break refreshed and enlightened!!
