Mountain Mechanics Hoping for Bluebird Days!

Today we will gather together as a group for our first official meeting. We have twelve skiers and riders in our group. Some of our group members have competed in slope style events and giant slalom events. Other group members consider themselves weekend warriors. Finally, we have a few skiers that will rent equipment and remember what it feels like to sink in an edge!

We are excited to work with terrain park managers during our first day at Loon Mountain. We’ll see how the boxes, rails, and walls are made in the shop and maybe do a bit of welding. In the afternoon we'll have a chance to take some laps through the park and see how the hard work in the shops translates to fun and creativity on the hill.
