The TTCC Group is excited to work with the local community and "get our hands dirty". We will be out in the morning working on local cleaning/repairs and in the afternoon assisting the after school program at the Tapley-Thompson Community Center.
We have outlined a few goals to accomplish for the week. Our competencies we would like to achieve are:
1. Students will communicate through working collaboratively on projects and with local youth.
2. Students will develop empathy by gaining perspective on local challenges.
We believe our experiences this week will help us improve our skills in this area.
