A successful (and fun) first day at the TTCC!

The group took off to the TTCC early Monday morning to see what the staff had in store for the day.  After some introductions to their managers, we got our hands dirty right away, helping organize their holiday costumes and decorations closet.

After finishing the closet, the group spent some time wiping down tables and chairs that are used for various functions at the TTCC.  There was a lot of work to be done, as these items had not been cleaned for a while.

To finish the morning, the group stuffed hundreds of Easter Eggs with candy in preparation for the TTCC Easter Egg hunt coming up.  It was fun talking about how excited the kids will be when they are cracking the eggs open!

After a lunch break back on campus, we returned to the TTCC for some fun in the afternoon with the after school program.  The day started with some dodgeball, but basketball, four square, musical chairs and tag were all played as well.  Some of the kids had some big arms and knocked our group out easily!  It was enjoyable seeing the kids exercising and having fun after school, and we hopped in on everything we could.
