Day 1: Knot Your Average Sailing Trip

We woke at 2:00 am (some were too excited to sleep), and set off to Logan Airport. After eleven hours of travel, we landed in the warm sunlight of Saint Thomas. The 17-people-open taxi was worth mentioning since riding it was fun and refreshing. We met Captain Meg and Captain Mike on the dock and we set our feet on the boat shortly after. Everyone was excited about the cozy boat, calm sea, and fresh landscape. We attached the two boats, settled in, had a wonderful 'lunch' as everyone was hungry. We sailed our boats to another bay for shelter, and we swam before making dinner. Some cooked burgers, others prepared boiled potatoes. After a fun time playing cards, we had a nice sleep after the long day.
