Starting the day at 9am, we painted the siding green. We finished them very quickly, and then moved to G house in order to prepare for the afternoon's design project. This video demonstrates the feeling of accomplishment in the group:
Watching the “Tiny House” series, we were surprised by how people are able to simplify their house but still get everything they need. Other than being surprised, we also gained some knowledge about how to build one by our own. After lunch, we met back in Lane to design our dream tiny houses with a partner. After one and half hours of hard work, we came out with 4 drafts: some of them are very practical - on the campus - and some of them super fancy-on a cliff in Colorado or on the beach in Hawaii. Today, because the weather was not good, we didn’t do as much building as we were used to doing the past few days, but we worked with our brains a lot. Go Huskies!
