Lifeguarding: Day 1

Today the group was introduced to the world of lifeguarding. We started of the day, discussing the general practices and legal considerations of the job and then hit the pool!

Then we started the pre-tests; a distance swim, brick carry and hands-free treading water. 

We then worked on water entries, approach swims, passive and active surface saves. The group was tired but learned a lot!!
