Lifeguarding: Day 4

Today we continued CPR and First Aid. We started with acting out different first aid scenarios and the emergency action plan to follow

The group practiced checking for a pulse and how to position unconscious victims for help;

We also learned how to treat and wrap a burn

We all learned how to properly perform CPR on different aged victims with an AED;

The students finished the day, taking tests on the lifeguarding skills as well as the CPR and First Aid skills they have learned.
