Day 1: We arrived in beautiful Belize after a long exhausting journey. We were met by warm breezes and our friendly tour guides. We took a bumpy yet bearable bus ride to our first hotel location, Clarissa Falls.

We were delighted upon our arrival to find a spectacular array of animals including cows, horses, dogs, peacocks and turkeys. We all reside in authentic huts, where our needs are met but challenge us to reach out of our comfort zone. After eating a home cooked warm meal consisting of beans, tortillas and beef stew, we headed to our huts to sleep.
