Exploring the Waters Around Us Day 1

Day 1 of exploring the water around us was a lot of prep work before we head of campus. We learned background information of the U.S Coast Guard by watching a documentary about a coast guard diver and how rigorous the training and school is. 

Here is a picture of Lars researching questions to ask the Cadets at the Coast Guard.

We then took the road and stopped by a near lake to check out the views. 

The group took a photo next to nearby Hermit Lake.

Tomorrow we are heading to the New England aquarium in Boston to learn about different species in are waters around us. We will specifically be looking at how the fish are in the water and how active they are in this environment. We will see small sharks, sting rays and a lot of other fish.
