Sweet & Savory Day 1: Kitchen Introduction & Grocery Shopping






The morning began with a sanitation, vegetable cutting, and stalk making lesson by our very own Food Service Director, Chef Tom Faba. 








We then got to work with Chef Pam, to make the bread that is served daily for dinner. Today, the recipe was for pretzel bread! 



We ended the day with a shopping trip to BJ's and Market Basket to gather the ingredients necessary for the week. Mrs. Burke's refrigerator and kitchen are full of supplies!
