Day 2!
After our Zoom with the Clover School, we headed to the kitchen to make some traditional Ugandan fare. The students were given the ingredients, recipes, and utensils they needed and were set free to make their culinary creations. They made Mandazi, Matoke, and Chapati. The results were fantastic! In the afternoon we worked on making personalized friendship bracelets for our new friends in Uganda. The students are working on pen pal letters and will be sending the letter and bracelet to their pen pal later this week! We are busy with our fundraiser as well. We have already raised an astonishing $2000.00 in the first two days. These funds will make a true impact! We are not done yet. Thank you to all who have supported this wonderful cause.
