Cookies!

The Art and Science of Baking kicked off by creating different variations of chocolate chip cookies. There were some ups and downs, which all turned out to be learning experiences and were mostly products of our morning session. The 'downs' became triumphs as we truly began to come together as a unit during the afternoon session, giving everything we had to produce some great cookies.

Throughout the day the cookies baked were, New York Times best Chocolate Chip Cookies, Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies, Nestle Toll House cookies, Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies, Rugelach Cookies, and Mexican Wedding Cookies.

We hope to come out with the same intensity Tuesday to produce some cupcakes of legendary proportion. We will take the extra cookies to Food for All and Meals for Many, two local food pantries, to share out creations!
