Ireland - Last Day

We left Dublin early this morning and traveled to Northern Ireland. We went to see Giant's Causeway, which is an incredible piece of geography that is also mired in Irish folklore. I always wondered who Finn McCool was... now we know.

As I compose this blog, we are (sadly) enjoying our last dinner at a restaurant called Wagamammas in the city of Belfast. We had some time this afternoon to learn about the "Time of Troubles", when Catholics and Protestants fought for control of Northern Ireland. Although the peace agreement was signed 14 years ago, there are many signs around the city that signify that the wounds have not completely healed.
