The Show Must Go On: Essential Question and Itinerary

Essential Question: What does it take to make a theatrical production in one week?

We are gearing up to prepare for our show Table 12, written by our very own Ms. Brown. There are some nervous jitters and we haven't even started yet. But as we told this group, it is about trying new things and seeing what we can accomplish in one week. We are very excited to see this show take off. Below is an itinerary of our week.

Monday, March 6, 2017: Get a tour of the Winnipesaukee Playhouse, where we will present our production. We will also audition for the play. By the afternoon, students will be cast for their roles and we'll do a read through.

Tuesday, March 7, 2017: We will head back to the Winnipesaukee Playhouse and block Act 1. We will also start off-stage work. Later that afternoon we will block Act 2.

Wednesday, March 8, 2017: That morning we will go to the Winnipesaukee Playhouse and attempt to run through the show twice. That afternoon we will incorporate costumes, scenery and props. We also try to work on memorizing lines. As making it halfway through the week, we'll go out for dinner that night.

Thursday, March 9, 2017: Back to the Winnipesaukee Playhouse for a tech rehearsal for the day.

Friday, March 10, 2017: Again, back to the Winnipesaukee Playhouse to do a final dress rehearsal and any last touch ups for the play. That night we put on our show for the community at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse. It will be an activity offered to students and faculty. Afterwards, we will go out and celebrate.

Saturday, March 11, 2017: Even though our project will be done, we will go around and visit the other projects at the symposium.
