Freeze Frame: Day Two With Photographer Scott Bulger

'Freeze Frame' project group in the studio of Scott Bulger.

Scott teaching us about short and broad light.

Scott working with each student to use the camera manually.

Posing and lighting...

to create expressive portraits.

Discussing light and expression.

No one waits their turn anymore!

Scott teaching us about the business of being an artist.

Today Freeze Frame went to the studio of Scott Bulger, a professional photographer. We learned a lot about different lighting effects to take portraits of people, which was really cool. We all got to pose for pictures and take pictures too. It was a lot of fun. We learned about the different ways you can capture or accentuate the features on a person's face. I personally found the different expressions in each person's poses just as interesting and important as picking the lighting to match.
