This afternoon the Freeze Frame project group learned the basics of studio lighting. With a backdrop, reflector, two lights, and student models, we discovered how the quality, quantity, and direction of the light affects the people and backdrops. We also learned how to fix problems in lighting and how to express our style through light. At the end, we all walked away with a working knowledge of studio lighting.
